Four Kanji Types (#3)

The Ideograph (Kaii Moji)


Made up of pictograph or symbol characters (see the two previous blogs).

1. 休み（やすみ - rest）shows a person（人 - ひと）leaning against a tree （木 - き）.

Because ideographs are a combination of the two easiest-to-remember kanji types, I'm hoping that they will be easy to remember too.
